Siryn is a character of Marvel Comics. One of my favorite heroines. She's got this super-sonic voice, or something. I never really understood her power. I just thought she was cool. Alas, like most Marvel secondary characters, she was lost to limbo for awhile.
UNTIL! One miraculous day she showed up in a few issues of New X-Men. With a spiffy new costume, which I had to draw because the stripes....the stiped sleeves! It was so fun to draw striped sleeves, I was so in love.
It ticks me off when everyone in the M.U. refers to her as 'Siryn, daughter of Banshee' because....she's so much MORE than just some guys daughter! She needs to be back regularly, for serious.
